Welcome!

My name is Bradley Factor and I’m a graduate student in the Master of Science in Robotic Systems Development (MRSD) program at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to attending numerous classes ranging from Computer Vision to Biomechanics and Motor Control, I’m working on a very exciting self-proposed virtual reality project with a group of amazing engineers. You can follow the project’s progress here.

Prior to attending grad school, I was a Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace working on the Boeing 787 and Comac C919 aircraft. I was also the sole member/engineer/researcher of Factor Mechatronics, LLC, performing research and development into total immersion systems.

Born and raised in Arizona, I attended college at Cornell University in upstate New York, and then returned home to work for Honeywell. I was recently granted professional registration as an Electrical Engineer from the State of Arizona.

While at Cornell, I was a prominent member of the Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Team. I also received a very broad foundation across multiple engineering disciplines.

I really love tangible, dynamic, interdisciplinary engineering challenges and have fancied myself an inventor from a very young age.
